Dear Sir:
I am the founder of Orphans Unlimited,Inc., working to rescue & evangelize over 1200 orphans in 2 remote counties of northern Mozambique, Africa. Most of these children were orphaned because their mothers died after drinking dirty water. Our most urgent need in 2006 was to provide clean water for the villages where these kids live.
In February, 2006, Ron Hicks, President of Vital Needs Company in San Antonio , introduced me to John Edmondson and PuR.
I was very interested,yet skeptical of PuR's amazing stated results., so samples packets were sent back to Mozambique with me so I could try it for myself. John promised that I was going to be amazed by what PuR could do, & that if I desired he would raise the funding to send us a full pallet of PuR
My astonishment at the results of my first experience with PuR was beyond words.
I've been working to save Children in Africa for 17 years, am a registered Nurse with a B.S in Agriculture, & yet have never seen anything clean up filthy water the way PuR does.
I gave several packets to our Mozambican program director whom I'd transferred to an area where only filthy hand dug water wells were available . Death due to Cholera & Dysentery were common place there in 2006
Our director took all his drinking water from the locally hand dug well and treated it with PuR
He's just completed 1 year of using only drinking water that was treated with PuR. He has not had a day of illness due to any water borne disease during this year. This record is unheard of and I have never seen it before.
After I contacted John and told him that we would like to distribute PuR to all the remote villages in our Program, he promised to get us some as soon as possible.
But PuR was not registered in Mozambique so his first gift of 100,000 packets was rejected by Mozambican customs. But this didn't stop John. He changed tactics & worked hard to make 24,000 packets available to us through a contact in Malawi. This helped “fill the gap” due to the registration delays with the government. 
John worked diligently with others to get PuR registered in Mozambique by March of 2007.
True to his word John's second shipment of 113,000 packets of PuR arrived in Maputo in June of 2007.
We've just begun to train the village widows (who care for our orphans) to use it properly so that all our families can have safe clean water.
We at Orphans Unlimited, see John & Pure Compassion Ministries as God's instrument for helping us cut to one of the main roots ( Dirty water) that is causing the orphan problem to escalate out of control in Africa. John is truly a man of integrity and grit. When he sets his mind to doing something, he follows through to the finish, no mater what obstacles he meets.
